Introduction

Our accounting firm can use some improvements. With 100 employees at our firm, it is getting difficult to collaborate tasks in an efficient manner. This blog is dedicated to demonstrate how the application of Enterprise 2.0 into our firm can be of tremendous value. Enterprise 2.0 is the implementation of tools that allow for the accessibility of the collective intelligence of individuals within and without a firm to facilitate and improve upon communication and competitiveness. By implementing these concepts within our firm, Dewey Wright Itoff and Howe can achieve a competitive advantage through its innovative information systems.

In order to explain the economic value of Enterprise 2.0 we will use the analogy of a member of our firm: Jimmy. Jimmy is our fictional model worker who has been working at Dewey Wright Itoff and Howe for a year since they have implemented Enterprise 2.0 concepts. He will be used to showcase how such concepts have improved the effectiveness of employees in the firm.
